Holds a degree in Electrochemical and Electrometallurgical Engineering from the École Nationale Supérieure d’Électrochimie et d’Électrométallurgie de Grenoble - France (1985), Diploma in Intensive Studies (D.E.A.) in Electrochemistry and PhD in Electrochemistry by the Institut National Polytechnique de Grenoble - France (1987). He is a professor at the School of Engineering of Lorena - EEL - University of São Paulo (1988-current). Has experience in Materials Engineering and Metallurgy and Electrochemistry, with emphasis on Electrometallurgy and Corrosion of metals and metallic alloys.
