PhD Professor, full time dedicated to Teaching and Research at the Department of Materials Engineering at the Lorena School of Engineering, University of São Paulo (EEL-USP). Graduated in Automation Engineering from Instituto Superior Politécnico José Antonio Echeverría (ISPJAE), in Cuba, 2006. Master in Electronic Systems Development also from ISPJAE, in 2009. He has a PhD in Environmental Engineering from the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC), in Air Quality Control Laboratory (LCQAr), 2018. He worked as a researcher at the Instituto de Ciencia y Tecnología de Materiales de la Universidad de la Habana (IMRE-UH), between 2006 and 2014. He was a professor hired for a fixed period at the University of South of Santa Catarina (UNISUL) and substitute professor at UFSC. He has experience in the areas of electronic instrumentation, probability and statistics, development of measurement systems, atmospheric pollution, odor detection and analysis, development of electronic noses, IoT, Data Science, and robotics.
